Requests for proposals

In addition to providing integrated business management systems, Mainframe Associates also prepares Requests for Proposals and represents clients in the selection and acquisition process. To ensure there is no conflict of interest, Mainframe will disqualify themselves from responding to a proposal they have written.

Our experience with this process extends over nearly 20 years and with a 17-year background as a solution provider we are highly qualified to represent your best interests in this critical process. The specific services can be broadly described as follows.

  • Needs Analysis: The process of interviewing staff, review existing systems and generally identify the business needs as they pertain to automation.
  • RFP Preparation: The process of documenting the Needs Analysis and completing the RFP to the point that it may be issued to prospective vendors.
  • Selection Process: Once an RFP has been issued, the selection process will include short listing potential vendors through research into their product and customer base, as well as the final committee selection of a suitable product. The selection process also includes the development and implementation of the sales agreement.
  • Implementation Process: Overseeing the delivery and implementation of the new system up to the point where the vendor takes over normal support services.
